Stitching, Flags, Flowers and Brads
Two things about this layout: I needed to finally scrap this picture and I wanted to use a
sketch I found on Pinterest. The paper used is So Happy Together by Echo Park:
A little secret about me as a scrapbooker...I am TERRIBLE about journaling.
See that journal box that is not written in - Uh Oh!!
Happy Scrapping,
I can totally relate about not journaling! I rarely journal on my layouts. "/ This is a really cute layout either way!
ReplyDeleteThanks Becky. Glad I am not the only one who leaves out journaling. Happy Sunday!
DeleteLovely layout! Great sketch too!
ReplyDeleteAnd...I also love those papers! I have that petite paper pad and
I used it a LOT!
I totally understand you about "not journaling"..I'm the same...
I leave room for it on my layouts but always keep the journaling for ...
when I feel like it (doesn't happen often) HAHA I just like to create..
Have a great Sunday!!!
I am with you Lenny. Like to create. The picture tells the story or brings alive the memory for me. Thanks for stopping by. Happy Sunday!
DeleteSuch a pretty page and a great take on the sketch, Leslie. I've had this sketch printed out for some time but haven't used it yet. Thank you for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa. I had a lot of fun with this sketch. It worked great for this picture and I am obsessed with flags/banners right now. Would love to see your layout when it's complete. Have a wonderful Sunday!
DeleteVery pretty page. Great job with the sketch. I really don't enjoy journaling but always push my self to right something when I'm gone I want my kids to know the sorry behind the picture.
ReplyDeleteCrystal, thanks for your kind words. I am going to remember what you said and try to journal more. It is about our kids knowing our thoughts and the story.

ReplyDeleteThank you Pam. Do you like to scrapbook? I will stop by and visit you too!
DeleteVery cute? How do you do the stitching? Is it with those handheld punture things or can you really sew things on a sewing machine?
ReplyDeleteHello. I did the stitching with a we r memory keeper tool. You could do stitching on a sewing machine but I haven't tried that yet. I have a very non-cooperative sewing machine.
DeleteAwesome job with the sketch! Lovely colorful product choices!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie. So glad that you stopped by!
