July Calendar and September Daily Photo!

Hello.  Hope you are all having a great weekend.  I am finally sharing my calendar for July and since today is the last day of August, I need to get to work on that page.  My idea for July was to make all the pictures black and white highlighting the blue and red colors in the pictures.  Unfortunately, the photo editing programs only let you choose a radius of color (circle).

Here is another 4th of July layout I created with a specific sketch  (as soon as I find that paper I will share the sketch with you).  These pictures were from a few years back.

And since tomorrow is already SEPTEMBER - ACCKKK - Where does the time go? I am including the September photo a day list.  Remember you can link up your photo a day pages or monthly layouts here.

Happy Weekend,

She Said!

Hello and happy Friday.  My kids are back in school as of yesterday - I miss them.

Today I am sharing a couple of layouts using the He Said "She Said" collection by Teresa Collins.
The layouts showcase my daughter's 10th birthday and her dance recital.

I LOVE  this collection.  Perfect for the little girl in your life.

I cannot find where the sketch for this layout came from.  It is driving me crazy.
If you recognize it, let me know.  I want to give credit where credit is due.
Where could I have put that paper?
FOUND IT!  Thanks to the ladies who helped me out.
It was from Sketchbook 365!

Sketch used was #117 from Sketches in Thyme
from last month - didn't have time
to play along with it in July

Happy Scrapping!

Make sure to check out the He Said "She Said" Collection at The Memory Nest.
There is one for the boy in your life too.

Happy Monday!  It is a rainy one here.

Happy Sunday!

Today I am playing along with the
Use Your Words Challenge Blog. The challenge was to
use the word MOMENT in your title or journaling.
The page I created showcases a fun Easter picture moment
with my family (husband, kids, brothers, sister-in-law and
niece). This is one of my favorite pictures.  I love how we
are so happy and having fun.

The collection I used was What a Wonderful Day by
Fancy pants.  I love this collection and have already made
a few layouts using the paper and all the embellishments.

As I was gathering the papers I wanted to use, I noticed
that the strips paper had a quote that used the word
MOMENTS.  I had to use it on my layout. The cork
arrows emphasize the two times the word was used.

I love playing along with other challenges. The Memory Nest
would love for you to check out our challenges and play
along.  New challenges will be starting in September
(color and sketch) with all sorts of twists!

Happy Sunday,

Best Friends

Good Morning and Happy Friday.  I am sharing my take on the Fifth Summer
Challenge.  This is a special layout because of the story behind the pictures.  My
daughter met her best friend in kindergarten.  Soon after, we realized that
her dad's grandma and my grandma were best friends.  Such a neat story that
generations later there would be another special bond formed.
