My Bucket Head, Pogo Stick Zombie and a Leprechaun Trap

Saw this sketch on my travels through the blogosphere.  It was perfect for
these photos of my silly, but cute, yet clever son!  I used papers from the
Cut and Paste collection ~ currently on sale at The Memory Nest.

Not my favorite layout, but the rainbow colors are cool with the
picture and the theme.  Products used from the Feathers Color Kit

Let's Get Sketchy

When I first saw the sketch for this next layout, I thought it looked so fun.
I liked the PL look. I quickly learned it was much more out of my comfort zone than
I anticipated. I had fun trying different techniques on this layout!  Lots of gold!

"Tab" These Layouts!

Two layouts to share on Tuesday! Both sketches included tabs!
My boy playing in the woods. Isn't that a cool tree!?!?

Life. Paper. Scrapbook. : April Sketch Challenge
I turned the sketch!

Background paper is from the Dapper Dan Collection and
the green and blue paper is from Fancy Pants Happy Go Lucky.
The jar and branch are from the Happy Go Lucky ephemera pack.

The next sketch reminded me of a file folder or medical folders. I
thought it would be cute to use for these pics of my daughter at the
doctor.  She was finally starting to get better from the pneumonia.
The clip at top is holding in my journaling! I folded over about an
inch of the the graph paper so that it would look like a file folder.
You can see it that it is slightly lifting in the photo.

Rosettes (Color Kit)

Hello Ladies.  Such a busy week in my neck of the woods.  Once I get through the activities of this week, it should be downhill to summer.

Kelli and Crystal are back with us today to showcase the wonderful things you can do with the Rosettes Color Kit.  Lots of crafting fun wrapped up in one little package.  I LOVE the layouts they created with this kit, which was inspired by the rosettes in the picture.

Using a picture to inspire a color pallette is a fun way to mix colors you may not have thought to use together.

A little background information - these kits were created with older products!  A great way to see older papers in a new light.

Crystal combined the brads from the kit with the many papers included.

Stickers from the kit were used to enhance the fun paper colors.

Kelli combined paper with the fun banner sticker for a great page.
Love how Kelli and Crystal both used this paper as a background
for two totally different yet wonderful layouts!

Kelli used this month's sketch by Kellie to create this fun
layout.  I love how she used the different papers to match
the elements on the sketch!!!

Lovely Job ladies!
