More Bella Blvd.

I am sharing some more layouts that I created with my new stash of Bella Blvd.  If you
missed the Bella Blvd post the other day - I will fill you in - I decided to try Bella Blvd
products ~ LOVE them.  These layouts were created with Max and Sprinkles.

I apologize that some of the photos used on my layouts are not the best quality.  Sometime I snap
moments with my iPhone and have to scrap them. The iPhone 4 photo quality is not the best but
I still must scrap these fun memories.  Really hoping to upgrade soon!!!

see their layouts and cards!  Remember: Cards are WELCOME!!!

Jane
our lovely guest designer for the month of July.
So thrilled to have her play along with us. LOVE
what she created!

P.S. Angie is using the Fancy Pants collection Happy Go Lucky available
at tMN!! Love what she did with the collection.

Loving her use of rainbow lately!!

Such a fun vibrant layout that really depicts summer!

Rachel created two adorable cards based on
the sketch and you can do the same!!!

LOVE her colorful washi tape page. Absolutely darling
with those adorable pictures of her girls!

Leslie
And I actually had time to play before the post went live. I created two layouts
because I wanted to use the sketch two different ways! One is CAS (Guitar
Girls) the other a little more fun with more embellishments and a variety of
patterned papers (Red Sox Fans)

We would love to see what you create!  And remember: ALL who link up to
our challenges are entered into our monthly prize drawing!  Good Luck!!!

Happy Making,

Creative Blog Tour

I have met so many wonderful ladies in the scrapbooking blogosphere.  I always enjoy seeing their creations and am thrilled when they stop by to say hi.  It is so nice to connect with other ladies who share the same love - scrapbooking.

Thank you Angie from Living a Crafting Life for asking me to be a part of the Creative Blog Tour.  Stop by and visit Angie to see what she shared in her creative blog post.  This is a fun way for us crafters to introduce our scrappy friends to other scrappy friends.  Make sure to read through the end to see the other creative bloggers I tagged!

1. What am I working on?

I am always working on catching up on my scrapbooking. Lately, I have been scrapping mostly current pictures.  From time to time I reach into my stash of old pictures to create with those!  I am busy keeping the two monthly challenges on my blog going and as most of you know have been creating sketches.

2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
My style has really changed over the last year or so.  I truly love working with sketches.  It helps jump start my creative juices.  I have learned that I can take a sketch but make the layout my own.  I LOVE mixing products from different manufacturers.  I pull colors for my layouts from the pictures I am scrapping.   And although I love trying new techniques, sometimes clean and simple is the way for me!

3. Why do I write/create what I do?
I started scrapbooking 13 years ago after I married my high school sweetheart.  And actually, today is our wedding anniversary - such a coincidence!  I wanted a special album to showcase all the extra pictures that were taken by our wedding guests.  I found that I loved creating scrapbooks and continued crafting albums for my children!  I LOVE looking back on an event and reliving it all over again.  The journaling definitely helps but even the pictures tell a story through the page design and details added.

4. How does your writing/creating process work?

I am not a huge writer, but I love to share some thoughts on my pages.  I always start scrapping by looking at my pictures and choosing a collection or color palette.  The products I choose and the various amazing sketches available help me to create!  Here is the sketch I created for the next challenge at tMN.  The sketch goes live today and is created to help quick start someone else's creativity (and my own too).  I appreciate all the amazing sketches that the scrapbook community shares!

Here are the creative blogs/blogger I have tagged.  They will be sharing more about themselves next Monday - July 21st on their blogs.  Make sure to stop by.

We live in sunny So Cali, and I am a beach lover!!! Scrapbooking has become my creative outlet which I LOVE to do in my spare time. I enjoy making layouts, cards, creating home decor items for our house, and altering!!! I LOVE it all. Designing with Glitz

Hello!  I am a huge fan of Glitz paper packs!!!  I LOVE the way their papers coordinate and the
stickers that come with the collection kits.  The first layout used both the Finnley and Dapper Dan
Collection, available at The Memory Nest.  The second layout is all Finnley papers.

Inspired by a sketch I saw on Michele Duffy's blog
It's About the Paper. It is a sketch from Paper Bakery.

Saw this sketch on my bloggy friend, Wendi's blog,
Scrappy Day in Paradise. She is a DT member for
