"Let's Scrap" Gettysburg
Two finally's (not sure how to really spell that) today: One, I am finally able to link up to a Let's Scrap sketch - WooHoo!! Two, I am finally posting on my blog. I missed sharing with you. Planning for a birthday party takes up a lot of my time.
Here is the layout I created with this month sketch over at Let's Scrap using pictures from our vacation this past summer, which was a favorite of ours!! I really love the color scheme I used on this layout! I wanted to play on the navy and natural colors in the pictures.

My flair button, from A Flair for Buttons, matched the colors nicely but had bike wheels on it.
I JUST realized that the wheels match the ones on the cannon. I actually meant to do that ~ wink, wink!
I used the Fancy Pants Collecting Moments Collection along with some papers from Pink Paislee. I was able to mix the paper flags with the Collecting Moments sticker flags, collection available at The Memory Nest and at an AMAZING price!!
Thanks for stopping by and...

ReplyDeleteWe did see little reenactments but not a full battle!! It was so neat and my kids really enjoyed it.
