I am a wife and mother of 2 adult sons, and 2 young Portuguese Water Dogs. All of them are my favorite subjects!  We love to travel and Disney Cruising and Disney Parks are our favorite way to vacation. I love meeting people, and enjoy photographing our journeys. I started scrapping late in my children's lives, ( about 10 years ago,) and I know I will never get "caught up." I'm okay with that, as I like to scrap what I "feel like" scrapping, and love lots of layers, textures and "stuff" on my pages.

I work full time in the corporate world and Scrapbooking helps me to relax from a busy day,  and get creative.  It has helped me to meet so many people that I now call my true friends.  I enjoy inspiring others to think outside the box and encourage them just try a new technique or product. I believe there is no right or wrong, no good or bad - everyone has their own personal "art" inside them.

Jane Taylor

Hi everyone,
I'm so delighted to be joining the Memory Nest's DT and am excited to introduce myself. I live in the UK with my husband of 39 years, Niall. I have three grown up sons and three adorable grandsons - one of them very new. I'm sure you'll be getting to know them over the coming year as they tend to be my main subjects for scrapping, although  my oldest son's greyhound, my garden and trips out to beautiful places around the UK also feature from time to time.
I think I've probably been crafting all my life, starting at primary school with a love of embroidery and knitting - girls did this while boys played sport, yes I'm that old! Building on this my Nan taught me how to sew and I made dolls clothes, aprons and then my own clothes. I studied to be a primary school teacher with craft as my main subject - this included weaving, collage and dressmaking. Over the next few years I dabbled in many crafts including cross stitch, macrame, patchwork, crochet, card making - you name it I've probably given it a go!
I discovered scrapbooking round about 2005 and made the standard family history album, then a holiday album, then a wedding album and another wedding album ..... Yes I was smitten! I found it really difficult to find shops, workshops or other scrapbookers where I live and turned to the internet for inspiration and made such an important discovery. - scrapbooking can be about the everyday and not just special occasions. I don't think I've ever looked back since and although I still find card making is more popular here in the UK,  for me it's always scrapbooking that is my total love. I never begrudge spending on supplies for my pages as I know I'm going to treasure them and hope they will be passed on for many generations yet to come.
I started my blog 18 months ago, mainly as I wanted to enter challenges and keep my brain active in retirement. And now I've been lucky enough to become part of the design team at the Memory Nest! How amazing is that?

SO happy to have you ladies join our team!!
And welcome back to...

Happy Scrapping,
