No Two Layouts are Alike!

I am flurrying a winter wonderland of pages on you today!  I bet you did
not know that I live about a mile away from a ski area.  The cool thing about
that is most of the area schools have ski clubs.  It is an amazing deal for the
students and allows them the opportunity to take lessons and enjoy the sport.

This is my daughter's 3rd year skiing and my son's 1st year snowboarding.
Glad they enjoy it.  Skiing is not my sport.  Tried it once and once was enough.

Only one of these layouts was created on my weekend crop.  The rest were
created this past week.  All were inspired by sketches.

Ski Club 2014

Found this sketch on Pinterest.  I love hexagons lately.  I decided to
turn this sketch to better suit the orientation of my picture.

No 2 Snowflakes are Alike

I have a layout I did many years ago of my kids in the snow entitled -
No 2 snowkids are alike!  Thought I would use the actual saying this time.

Saw the sketch used for this layout while visiting Doreena's blog.  I
decided  to  take a different spin on it and use snowflakes instead of hexagons.
Although, I do LOVE hexagons. It is from Stick It Down!

  8. Very creative and original! I admire such talent. And scrapbooks make such awesome gifts. My daughter made one for me for my birthday many years ago. I still have it and love it.

Stopping by from the No Rules Weekend Blog Party.

  9. Terrific! They both look great! You are so lucky to live near skiing! My DDs and I are heading out next Thursday for a 10-hour drive to get to do a bit of skiing - wish it were closer!

  10. These layouts look amazing! In my part of Australia I live around 18 hours drive from the snow, LOL! Actually it would be quicker to take a plane to New Zealand skifields. I am not a skier (tried it twice, failed, I was miserable...) but my husband loves it. I do enjoy seeing snow layouts though, always looks so much fun in photographs :)

  11. Your pages link great. I'm not a skier and I'm sure I would fall on my face. But its cool your kids have such a great opportunity.
