Pinterest Inspired Friday - Scrapbook Layout

broken treasures

Good morning!  Today I am sharing a post that is two-fold.  It is a Pinterest inspired
layout but it is also the layout I shared on Elizabeth's blog showing the use of Flip Flaps.
Elizabeth and I met on Linked in and she asked me to create a layout for her blog
(she is a CTMH consultant).

The sketch I used was by Basic Grey for a two page layout.

The two page Easter layout was fun to create with all the springy papers and embellishments.
A few months back, I learned about a new product by Close to My Heart called Flip Flaps.
Flip Flaps come in many different sizes and make it easy to include multiple pictures on a layout.

I used a 4x6 Flip Flap on my page, which allowed me to include two extra pictures.
The Flip Flap has an adhesive strip that attaches to the outside of the page protector.
The papers used to create this layout are from the We R Memory Keepers
Simply Spring Collection: Blossoms, Basket, Raindrop, Expressions, the
Embellishment Stickers and the Spring Flings Frame.

Happy Spring and Happy Scrapping!

  3. how does it work if you use page protectors? I never did flaps because no one would ever be able to open them!

    1. It is a special product the CTMH sells. They are like mini page protectors (come in different sizes). You stick them to the front of your "big" page protector. I know a couple of CTMH consultants - not sure if they would be in your area -if you are interested. Elizabeth is one of them.
